Crazy well eaten! With this service and some very innovative ideas (also with traditional dishes) only slightly more expensive than at other addresses. Service also great. Absolute recommendation. Be sure to test it

Katja and Dimitri, the owners of the restaurant Das Alpenglüh'n in the idyllic village of Krün, are the flagship restaurateurs. Our expectations were absolutely exceeded. The two of them are not only super personable and courteous, but also display such a pleasant professionalism. The restaurant is very nicely decorated and invites you to linger. Katja, who mainly takes care of the service, couldn't be more attentive. It reads your wishes from your eyes. I would like to highlight the kitchen in particular. I haven't eaten this well in a long time. Dimitri knows his trade! TOP! Particularly noteworthy is the yellow pepper soup. This is actually served with chorizo, but since two of us are vegetarians, the dishes were prepared without any complications without meat. All components in this restaurant are right! I will be back for sure! thank you

Except for one table, the restaurant is empty, but as soon as two kindergarten children appear, there are allegedly no more tables. Restaurants that welcome families and children in this way have no place in the Bib Gourmand. More than disappointing, we came full of anticipation.

A very nice ambience, you immediately feel special. When it comes to the food, attention is paid to the smallest detail, how it is decorated and served. The waitress explains everything exactly what you ordered and how it was prepared. Price performance is very good. We'll be back on our next vacation and will happily recommend this restaurant.

The culinary heaven. Incredibly good ambience, food & service

Very good restaurant. From the reception, to the service, to the food, everything was great. In terms of price completely within the framework. The high quality of the food justifies the price. In addition to bread with foamed salt butter, there were two greetings from the kitchen. Starters and the ordered Wiener Schnitzel were delicious. There was a handmade praline with the espresso. Clear recommendation!

Stand out from the usual Bavarian. Taverns from, very good food with top service. Even the cook comes to the table.

The visit to the Alpenglühn Restaurant was the highlight of our short vacation in Krün. Except in Brittany, France ;-) we have never eaten so good (truffle risotto!). Great attention to detail and many culinary surprises. We will be back definitely. Many thanks.

Hello, There were three of us back in the restaurant at the beginning of January after a year and we were delighted by the dishes served. Everything is very good: - the waitress (boss ...) who could explain a lot - the chef who was present at the serving and explained the dishes - the food itself - very nicely prepared and simply delicious - the advice on schnapps afterwards ... An asset to Krün! - if possible we'll come back!

Very, very good food and great service

The stars are mainly for the food itself. That was the best we got in Krün and the surrounding area and we tried a lot. The ambience is rather modern and very chic and still Bavarian. The service was different than expected, as the waitress and the cook, unlike in the other restaurants in the area, are rather reserved and distant. You could say it doesn't meet the stereotypes of what you may or may not like. I thought it was a bit of a shame.

The alpine glow, only discovered today but started on MAY 1, 2018. Absolute (secret) tip! A little out of the way in Krün in a quiet location you will find a restaurant with very sophisticated cuisine, very friendly service and an excellent cook who personally serves and comments on the entrees. At the beginning we got salted butter with two kinds of bread. Replaced by tartare from char with wasabi (subtle). Then a beef consomè with strips of pancake and carrots. Excellent taste and one hundred percent self-made. As a main course, ox cheeks with chanterelles and pearl barley. Tender as butter and spicy in taste. The mushrooms were extremely firm and the sauce had a strong beef taste. My wife had Wiener schnitzel with fried potatoes. Tender as butter and juicy. Without going into any further details, try the Alpenglüh'n and let it taste for you.

A little tip for your website: For whatever reason, you are listed twice on Google (Maps). And for the new website: the menu (now done here via Google Maps and on the website - top ???) and, if necessary, photos of your dishes on the website. ;-)
